Sascha has been a member of the Hannover Finanz team since 2024 and has been a member of the management board since then. Prior to that, he worked for 32 years at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants – 10 years as head of Germany and global head of the restructuring division, as well as deputy chairman of the supervisory board.
Sascha has extensive knowledge in all areas of restructuring, performance improvement, M&A, financing and private equity business through the development of the global practice at Roland Berger.
Sascha has been a member of a number of supervisory and advisory boards in family-owned companies for many years. He is also a shareholder, managing director and founding member of the Heidelberg-based non-profit organisation Heidelberger gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für Unternehmensrestrukturierung MBH (HggUR), an honorary judge at the Higher Finance Court in Kassel and a member of the Trade Committee of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for North Hesse – Marburg.
After an apprenticeship, Sascha completed a degree in economics at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg and a degree in business administration in Switzerland. In 1998, he received his doctorate in finance.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, mountain biking, and skiing on the slopes and on the lake.
