Goetz has been a member of the Hannover Finanz team since 2009 and is spokesman for the management board. He previously worked for Alpha Beteiligungsgesellschaft, a European private equity company. Goetz has extensive experience in the areas of auditing and transaction services. He passed both the tax consultant and auditor exams. He completed his studies in international business administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) at the EBS University of Business and Law in Oestrich-Winkel.

In his private life, Goetz spends his time with his family and friends and is passionate about sport. Before his studies, he was a successful show jumping rider and two-time German champion as well as European and European team vice-champion.
