Jürgen has been with Hannover Finanz since 1998. He was a member of the Management Board from 2006 to 2023. From 2015 to 2019, he was a member of the Executive Board of BVK e. V. (Bundesverband deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften), where he represented the SME sector. From 2003 to 2006, he was a member of the Executive Board of GBK Beteiligungen AG. From 1993 to 1998, he worked for Preussag AG in Hanover, Würzburg and Sheffield (UK). Following a trainee program, he spent three years at the Group headquarters in the Innovation division as project manager responsible for the development of new projects and technologies as well as for innovation management. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from TU Berlin.

In his free time, Jürgen enjoys trying out new things – especially new sports.
