Moritz has been a partner in the Hannover Finanz team since 2023. Prior to that, he spent two years supporting the Haniel family in building up direct investment activities, primarily with a focus on ESG-compliant investments. Before that, during his seven years at NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft, he realised various transactions and supported companies on their growth path. Most recently, as Sector Head, he was responsible for the realization of technology investments. Moritz began his career in his parents’ family business, which he later sold as part of the succession plan. This was followed by operational positions in various industrial companies. Moritz holds a Master’s degree in Finance (Trinity College Dublin) and a Master of Business Administration (Cambridge).

Moritz likes to spend his free time with his family, travelling, cooking or playing sport. He also enjoys watching football matches.
